Jayden is a photographer, and film all rounder. Producing, shooting, and editing his own stories in short documentary format. Motivated by working as an scientist on board fishing vessels, he recognised the power and importance of strong storytelling.
It began with science, led to photography, and turned into film, photojournalism, and Antarctic expedition guiding.
He uses film and photography to connect people – to nurture emotion for issues that aren’t easily accessible, and to create empathy, because people don’t care for what they cannot see.
Using powerful imagery to inspire and connect people without leaving them feeling hopeless, Jayden understands that the average person can’t connect to the scientist, or the journalist, but they can connect to emotion.
He holds many certificates that support remote access to the wildest places, including Helicopter Underwater Escape Training, STCW Sea Safety Certificate, Remote Area First Aid, Coxswains boat handling certificate, 4WD certificate and a Bachelor in Marine Biology.
